Ultimate After Prom 2008
Starting at midnight on May 11th (after the
May 10th prom), Atholton PTSA will host its third annual Ultimate
After Prom Party. It will be held at the
AMC movie theaters and will include movies, activities, food and prizes. Last year over 350 students chose to attend
this event rather than other options which were often unsupervised and may have
involved drug and alcohol use. When
tragedy hits, it affects our students, our families, our school, and our
community. The rewards of a fun and safe evening for our teens are immeasurable.
Prizes
to include: flat screen televisions, restaurant gift certificates,
river tubing trip for 2, 10 person laser sport adventure, rock climbing
lessons, 10 hours at Cyberden, sports and theater admissions, and MORE!

You Can Help By
Donating Money -- Prizes, activities, and food entice students to attend.
- We are hoping that each family of a freshman or sophomore will be able to donate $25 towards this event.
We are hoping that each family of a junior or sophomore will be able to donate $50 towards this event.
Volunteering -- We need lots of help that night. Freshman and sophomore parents are especially encouraged to volunteer.
We start picking up food during the day, setting up at 10:30 p.m., running the event from 12 to 5, and cleaning up at the end. Last year we started the tradition of trying to get parents of freshmen and sophomores to help so that junior and senior parents could enjoy their children’s Prom Night. Please consider helping this year and continue this tradition. Our volunteer coordinator is Eileen Jones. You can contact her by email at ejones1956@verizon.net or phone at 410-997-9448.
