After Prom Committee: Plan fun events to keep students safe during the night of the Prom. Contact: Help Still Wanted

Citizen Advisory Committee:  Represent AHS at monthly meetings of this county-level committee. Contact: Kathy Faber.

Community Connections:


Directory: Produces and provides the school and family directory to all Atholton families. Contact:  Erica Carpio

Driver's Education:  Provides access to Driver's Education courses for our AHS students. Contact:  Lisa Bader

Grocery Receipts: Educate the community about various grocery receipt programs, encourage participation/enrollment and facilitate the collection of funds made available to the school community from various grocery stores. Contact: Joan Brittingham.

Hospitality: Provide hospitality for select AHS PTSA sponsored events. Contacts: Tina Burgan.

Membership:  Build an informed active membership that supports the Mission, objects, policies, and programs of the local, state and national levels of PTA. Contacts: Sue Bell, Irene Halkias, Mindy Myers

Newsletter:  Gather information and publish the online "The Raider News." Contact: Kayle Simon.

Parents on Patrol (POPS):  This program is the only program of its kind in the entire county!  Committee chair Pam Vieser solicits volunteers to monitor the halls during lunch shifts. Contact: POPS@athloltonptsa.org.

Publicity–'Raider Raves':  Update the student calendar in the lobby with information about clubs, after-school activities, in-school events, and other important dates. We are seeking a volunteer for this position. If you are interested, please write to PTSA president Ellen Makar.

Reflections: Encourage and coordinate AHS participation in the National PTA-sponsored Reflections Program.  Contact:  Ellen Makar.

SAT Prep: Organize SAT classes offered through the PTSA at the school. Contact: Laurie Remer.

School Improvement Team (SIT):  Represent PTSA on this school-wide committee for meeting county and school  goals for achievement. Contact: Caryn Lasser.

Snack Shop: Provides a variety of snacks to the students of AHS every school day afternoon, with the exception of early dismissal days, at a reasonable cost while still making a profit. Contacts: Judy Bruce, Pam Johnson, Moira Monks.


Staff Appreciation:  provide treats and meals for the AHS staff throughout the school year. Contacts: Susan Bottomley, Jhana Shimizu and Amy Bagley

Volunteers: Develop and share a list of volunteers in all areas. Contact: Debbie Clutts.
