The Environmental Awareness Committee was created to promote environmental stewardship into every day school activity  and operations, and inspire and encourage the students at Atholton and the community to have a positive impact in protecting the environment. Green Day is Coming to Atholton!

"Green Day" will consist of environmental and wellness presentations by local businesses and County Agencies and all students are encouraged to participate. This event will take place the same day as Career Day (Date TBD, end of May) during periods 5 and 6.

Main activities:
• Indoor area for Booths and Displays.
• Outdoor area for Green car show, solar demo, and Native Plants.
 
The EA Committee would like to encourage the different clubs and classrooms to be able to participate and present projects related to the environment during Green Day.
