AHS PTSA - Partners Together Supporting Atholton

PTSA supports Atholton by coordinating volunteers for a variety of activites throughout the school year.  Some of the activities are one time events and others may require an on-going commitment.  If you are interested in volunteering please complete the volunteer form and send the form to front office/PTSA at AHS.  

Blood Drive:  assist in registering and serving snacks to blood donors

Career Connection:  conduct mock interviews with Juniors (usually April) at school

Hospitality & Staff Appreciation Activities:  provide baked goods, refreshments and/or You ca assist with serving refreshments

Landscaping:  plant and maintain gardens at the school, usually in the Fall and Spring

Recognition Events (Honor Roll & Perfect Attendance):  distribute certificates during lunch at the end of each quarter

Parents on Patrol Squad (POPS):  assist with hallway monitoring during lunch periods (10:10-12:20)

Snack Shop:  work in teams to sell snacks after school (daily:  1:55pm-2:45pm)

Sell Tickets during Lunch:  tickets for Homecoming, Prom, After Prom Party and other dances

Chaperone Dances:  Homecoming and other dances

After Prom Party:  help all night or volunteer for a shift of the After Prom Party

Guidance:  assist with guidance classroom units as needed

Advocacy:  help with advocacy on behalf of AHS, such as speaking at Board of Education meetings as needed

Science Fair Judge:  participate as a Judge for the Science Fair

Career Resource:  be willing to provide information about your career

Miscellaneous:  work varies, i.e., make phone calls or assist with activities or events
