Each teacher is permitted to submit an expense report to the PTSA requesting reimbursement for basic classroom supplies to help in their teaching efforts for the year. The PTSA funds each teacher up to $100 for each academic school year. The reimbursement can be all $100* at one time or can be for multiple smaller reimbursement requests. A teacher simply needs to submit an online expense report or fill out the reimbursement request form and return it and receipts to the PTSA Treasurer. All reimbursement requests must be accompanied by receipts.
* IMPORTANT: Teachers are reimbursed up to $100 if reimbursement is requested on or before Sep 30, $75 if reimbursement is requested on or before Oct 31, and $50 if reimbursement is requested after Oct 31. Last day to request reimbursement is the last day of school before winter break.
Examples of supplies the PTSA has reimbursed teachers for in the past include: pencils, pens, markers, small calculators, hand-held whiteboards, construction paper, dry-erase markers, stickers, decals, rulers, erasers, pencil sharpeners, Sharpies, paints, graph paper, and notebooks. This is not an all-inclusive list so teachers should feel free to discuss their request with the PTSA if they are uncertain.
